Golang Job: Software Developer

This leading Cyber Security firm is embarking on the next stage of new product development and is looking to hire a C# Developer, who would be interested in transferring in to GoLang.

Initially you will take ownership of a cyber application that is built in C# and you will continue with all aspects of new development. In conjunction with this you will also assist in the design and development of a second application using GoLang.

The represents an opportunity to initially use C# as a primary tool whilst transitioning in to GoLang. The role is 100% remote so candidates can be located anywhere in the UK.

The successful individual must have:

• a background in software development with an in depth understanding of C#.
• an appreciation of GoLang. This could be from personal projects at home, it being used as a secondary or tertiary skill at work or even as additional learning. You must be able to demonstrate some level of understanding and desire to learn more about GoLang and for it to develop in to your primary skill.
• Excellent communication skills. This is vital for the role. You will have application ownership so must be able to make technical decisions and communicate these effectively. The role will be visible so needs someone who would be happy in the technical spotlight and who enjoys collaboration with both technical and non-technical staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £60,000.00-£85,000.00 per year
